The National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month and month-long activities highlighting mental wellbeing makes September meaningful for the Thomasian community.

In recognition of Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention Month, Colegio de Sto. Tomas-Recoletos organized a series of impactful activities aimed at breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide.

The event featured talks from mental health professionals, interactive sessions with students, and workshops designed to equip the community with the knowledge and tools to support those in need. Students, faculty, and staff came together to foster an environment of understanding, compassion, and open dialogue.

"Mental health is just as important as physical health," said one of the organizers. "By breaking the silence, we create a safe space where everyone feels heard and supported."

The initiative reflects CST-R's commitment to the holistic development of its students, ensuring that mental wellbeing remains a priority alongside academic excellence.
